Business Insights Analyst

Role: Business Insights Analyst

Location: Mumbai (Goregaon East)

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Business Insights Analyst to join our team. As a Business Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, including historical performance, trends, and market insights, to identify opportunities and challenges.

What you'll be Responsible for?

  • Work closely with Management and business strategy teams to model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for company's Sales, Products, New initiatives, organic and inorganic growth etc Lead strategic partnerships and other organic and inorganic initiatives for the growth of the organization.
  • Conduct data crunching, data mining, and analyzing sales data, including historical performance, trends, and market insights, to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Create meaningful reports, dashboards, and presentations to visualize and communicate sales performance metrics to the sales team and management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales targets and strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Prepare and monitor funnel performance weekly for the sales team.
  • Work with Business Teams to monitor potential opportunities.
  • Track performance (Target vs achievement) of business team product wise and present to management.
  • Ensure the CRM system is utilized effectively for tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Provide access to CRM tools to business teams and provide solutions if any issue teams are facing regarding CRM tools.
  • Provide sales data to respective sales representatives, generate reports, and support them as and when needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments.
  • Ensure the team updates their opportunities, leads, and pipeline stages in CRM regularly.

What You'd have?

  • Bachelor/master's degree in business, Sales, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven 3-4 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in a sales or marketing context.
  • Proficiency in data crunching & analysis (e.g., Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are must).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Prior experience with CRM systems is a plus.
