Role Overview:

The Research and Development Associate position is a key role in driving innovation and process optimization within the hospitality industry.

This full-time role is based in Coimbatore, India, and involves conducting market research, developing new products and services, performing tests, analyzing data, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.

A successful candidate will operate at the corporate or corporate-supported property level, benchmarking competitors, tracking global hospitality trends, and identifying guest behavior patterns to inform product/service innovations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends, track competitor activity, and gather insights on guest preferences.
  • Concept Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative F&B concepts, wellness programs, room designs, and technology integrations that align with brand positioning.
  • Sustainability & ESG Projects: Identify and implement eco-friendly solutions to improve brand reputation and meet compliance requirements.
  • Technology Integration: Pilot digital tools to enhance guest services, streamline processes, and gather data on ROI.
  • Guest Experience Testing: Conduct focus groups, prototype testing, and gather feedback from guests and employees for continuous refinement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze processes and identify opportunities to reduce cost-per-occupied-room (CPOR), streamline housekeeping, and optimize procurement.
