Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineering Lead to spearhead the development of full-stack solutions, design scalable architectures, and drive technical excellence across our projects. About the Role

This role will oversee backend architecture and development, lead a team of engineers, and deliver high-performance applications. You will work on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Lead backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
  • Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek a candidate with:

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks
  • Proficiency in:
  • PHP, Laravel, Java
  • ReactJS, Node.js
  • MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB
  • CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git)
  • Cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple clients
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
