Business Recovery Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Collection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for negotiating payment schedules with customers, managing delinquency and DPD, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate payment schedules that suit the customer's current financial situation while satisfying the debt.
- Manage delinquency and DPD for assigned areas and buckets, focusing on non-starters and asset recovery.
- Provide efficient customer service regarding collection issues, process refunds, account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer account details, recording contact history and noting customer information.
- Investigate defaulting accounts, identify reasons for default, and continue to maintain healthy relationships with customers.
- Collaborate with sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process, including supporting court receivers and seeking legal support where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with audit, NHB, and IRB regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field.
- Graduate degree required; Masters/Postgraduate optional.
