SAP EHS Consultant

About the Role:

  • Work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in end-to-end software global development and implementation projects.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and Functional Requirement Specifications in accordance with approved IT Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide constructive feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
  2. Collaborate with Delivery Manager and Platform Analyst to evaluate solution feasibility, design, and high-level estimation.
  3. Develop and provide necessary user training for implemented applications.
  4. Validate that solutions meet business requirements before User Acceptance Testing.
  5. Responsible for validating test plans and functional test cases, and signing off acceptance of the product.
  6. Promptly escalate issues affecting product delivery and quality beyond scope of influence.
  7. Ensure seamless business operations support when needed.
  8. Drive harmonization of business processes using industry best practices.
  9. Promote innovative IT business propositions to stakeholders and recommend innovations to platform providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in SAP EHS Functional Consulting.
  • Participation in 3+ SAP EHS implementations.
  • Expertise in Risk Assessments, EHS Audits, Product Safety, and Dangerous Goods. Functional consulting and process knowledge in these areas are required.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in business/client-facing roles.
  • Highly driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful, and ability to multitask.
  • Clear thought and vision.
  • Ability to ideate and bring solutions to the table.
  • Adherence to timelines without sacrificing quality of output.
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented with strong ability to coordinate across different geographies and with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions at the same point in time.

Domain Expertise:

Clearly articulate problem statements to evolve solutions across domains.
