Key Leadership Role
The Data Governance Manager plays a pivotal part in establishing and driving the data governance framework, encompassing data-related principles and policies. This role leads and executes the data governance agenda, including data definition, data ownership, data standards, data remediation, and master data governance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with data owners to identify critical data elements for SAP master data.
- Developing and maintaining a business-facing data glossary and data catalog for SAP master data.
- Defining the data governance framework, developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Conducting data quality assessments and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance practices into all SAP-relevant business processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, technology, or related degrees.
- Relevant professional-level certifications from Informatica, SAP, Collibra, Alation, or other leading platforms.
- 4-10 years of experience in data management areas, preferably in data governance and/or data quality.
- In-depth knowledge of data quality and data governance concepts, approaches, methodologies, and tools.
