Lead Quality Assurance Manager

As a seasoned expert in quality assurance, you will oversee and manage the QA/QC function for Low Tension (LT) Power & Control Cables. Your extensive expertise in cable testing, quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and customer audits will be essential in driving success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Quality Assurance & Control processes for LT power, control, and instrumentation cables.
  • Implement, monitor, and improve quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025).
  • Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, BS and other relevant international standards.
  • Conduct routine, acceptance, and type tests on LT cables, including High Voltage Tests, Insulation Resistance Tests, Conductor Resistance Tests, Partial Discharge & Loss Factor Measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain test certificates, calibration reports, and quality documentation.
  • Manage customer inspections, audits, and certifications (BIS, NABL, CPRI, ERDA, CTL).
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolve customer complaints through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive cost optimization, process improvements, and statistical process control (SPC) in QA/QC functions.
  • Train and mentor QA/QC teams on best practices, testing procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with R&D/Design teams for new product development and validation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of cable testing (LT, MV, HV up to 220 kV) and related quality parameters.
  • Expertise in IMS, ISO standards, sustainability reporting (GHG, LCA, EPD).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, SPC tools, and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Skilled in handling customer and third-party audits.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Team leadership, training, and cross-functional communication.
