Job Title: Ports and Terminal Financial Manager

Job Description

As a seasoned financial professional, you will be responsible for managing the finances of our ports and terminal operations. Your duties will include:

  1. Identifying areas of process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

  2. Preparing budgets and forecasts for revenue, OPEX, and overhead expenses, in collaboration with the commercial department.

  3. Ensuring timely submission of audit-related documents and information to regulatory bodies and the group audit team.

  4. Providing commercial support to the CFS Head, including preparing proposals and analyzing data to inform business decisions.

  5. Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure competitive rates for our company.

  6. Coordinating with the treasury team to update financial information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  7. Developing and implementing performance management strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

  8. Analyzing profitability and identifying opportunities to optimize logistics and transportation costs.

  9. Evaluating customer proposals and ensuring that they align with our business goals and objectives.

  10. Implementing new software and systems to improve financial processes and billing accuracy.

  11. Managing month-end activities and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

  12. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions.

  13. Processing invoices, credit notes, and customer waiver requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the ports and terminal industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial software applications, such as SAP or Oracle.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry standards.
