Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 30+ members in QC, including an AMV team. The primary goal is to lead the LC-MS, Nasal analytical, FT-NIR analytical teams for regular testing/method validation activities.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and analytical knowledge to achieve company goals.
  • Responsibilities include providing backup support to the QC-HOD with daily updates, commercial output, monthly sample status, training, and coordination with stakeholders to align work according to requirements.
  • This role involves executing and approving different types of QMS (OOS, OOT, Investigation), identifying scientific root causes, implementing effective CAPA, and maintaining Lab compliance.
  • The successful candidate will design and execute planning of analysis (routine work, method validation, and method transfer), interpret data, and present findings to the HOD.
  • Key responsibilities also include making self-driven decisions, being a good learner, and providing guidance to team members for improving work quality and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • In the absence of the QC-HOD, the successful candidate will lead all types of QC-AMV work and actively participate in departmental improvement programs to enhance output and quality.
  • This role requires collaboration and coordination with cross-functional teams like QA, RA, R&D, and PMI to proceed with allocated tasks with ownership and accountability.
  • The ideal candidate should stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends to remain competitive for LC-MS and FT-NIR techniques.
  • Maintaining adherence to GLP and Health, Safety, Environment systems in the Laboratory and preparing for FDA Audit (US, MHRA, EU) are also essential responsibilities.
