Senior Control Systems Lead Position Available

  • The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of engineers in designing and implementing advanced control systems.
  • Manage resource allocation, hiring, and subcontracting activities on a daily basis.
  • Identify training needs and implement structured training programs to enhance the team's skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a consultant to drive project success.
  • Maintain awareness of project risks and opportunities, driving improvements across teams.
  • Ensure system performance validation through thorough FAT/SAT testing and evaluation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to department KPIs to optimize performance.
Key Competencies Required
  • Strong leadership experience managing 15+ engineers is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required in global project environments.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities with a focus on timely delivery are crucial.
  • A proactive, innovative, and improvement-driven mindset is necessary for success in this position.
Technical Expertise Needed
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC (mandatory) and Allen Bradley PLC (desired).
  • Hands-on experience in designing and executing integrated control systems is required.
  • Ability to align control designs with mechanical, electrical, and software project goals is essential.
  • Skilled in preparing and executing detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Experience in driving standardization and process improvement across multiple projects is desired.
  • Practical involvement in commissioning and customer delivery phases is required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field) is required.
  • 10-12 years of experience in PLC programming (Siemens required; Allen Bradley a plus).
  • Prior experience in Airport Baggage Handling Systems or Parcel Handling Solutions is strongly preferred.
