Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio details of private equity funds, including updating and maintaining information to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and customize quarterly reporting templates for investors to provide clear insights into fund performance.
  • Analyze performance data from private equity funds, using financial reports and cash flow statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate fund valuation metrics, such as investment costs, realized/unrealized value, and financial KPIs to inform investment decisions.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Compile and update fund track records to showcase a portfolio's historical performance and potential for growth.
  • Conduct fund analytics, including attribution and value creation analysis to understand the drivers of fund performance.
  • Reconcile portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence and leverage to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and communicate task status to clients to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Postgraduate degree or professional certifications (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA) to demonstrate expertise in finance and accounting.
  • 1-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in management reporting or operational finance, with some research experience to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential to create high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
