Job Title: Senior Retail Operations Manager.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position in our retail operations team. As a Senior Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors to achieve sales and operational excellence in our stores.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience & Service Excellence:

    • Ensure all customers are attended to promptly and provided with accurate, relevant, and technically sound information about products.

  • Sales & Performance Management:

    • Execute the sales plan issued by management and cascade it effectively to the team.

  • Cash Handling & Financial:

    • Oversight of accurate and secure processing of all transactions including cash, card, UPI, and digital wallets.

  • Inventory, Stock Control & Shrinkage Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels and trends, initiate timely reorders, and prevent stockouts.

  • Team Management & Training:

    • Lead a team comprising Assistant Store Managers, Supervisors, and Sales Executives.

  • Visual Merchandising & Store Standards:

    • Implement compelling visual merchandising strategies to improve footfall and drive sales.

  • Community Engagement & Brand Building:

    • Drive engagement with the local community by increasing brand awareness and loyalty.

  • Team Coordination & Reporting:

    • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings to review sales and operational performance, discuss challenges and areas of improvement, ensure timely implementation of strategic decisions and feedback, and submit comprehensive reports on KPI progress, stock status, team productivity, and action plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to analyze data and make informed business decisions.

  • Familiarity with cash handling and financial systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.
