Senior Academic Leadership Role

This is a high-level academic leadership position that demands strategic thinking and effective management skills. The Head of Department (BCA) will provide direction and guidance to the department, aligning it with industry trends and student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision: Develop and implement strategic plans for the BCA program.
  • Department Governance: Manage the department's resources effectively and allocate them for program development.
  • Student Learning Outcomes: Enhance student learning outcomes and program effectiveness through strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborative Culture: Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment within the department.
  • Student Support: Oversee student advising and career counseling services for BCA students.
  • Representations: Represent the BCA program at college/university events, industry conferences, and meetings.
  • Staff Development: Motivate and develop departmental staff to ensure efficient operation.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science and Application / Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 8+ years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level in computer applications. Prior experience in a leadership role within a higher education institution is highly desirable.
