Technical Consultant for Primary Metals Industry

As a Technical Consultant for the primary metals industry, you will leverage our expertise to enhance account revenue and profitability. You will provide expert guidance and assistance to our staff and customers, focusing on primary metals industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand our application portfolio and industry processes within the primary metals segment.
  • Work with local sales teams and application engineers to assess customer operations, identifying opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency, cost reduction, productivity maximization, and finished product quality.
  • Conduct on-site audits to solve customer problems or meet their requirements specifically focused on primary metals water and process applications.
  • Summarize findings in a technical report and support the presentation of key findings during customer review meetings.
  • Provide on-the-job training as needed, identifying required materials for field sales training programs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, RDE, and Sales stakeholders to identify new products, program applications, and innovations pipeline, along with suitable promotion and training for the sales team.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge by monitoring industry developments, new products, research, and concepts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Metallurgical engineering or science or biotechnology.
  • Strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications with a sound understanding of process applications in primary metals industry.
  • Knowledge of water, wastewater plant operation, and recycle systems.
  • Knowledge of water automation, digital solutions, and managed operations.
  • Experience in troubleshooting water and wastewater plants.
  • Able to work in an agile environment, driven by results, and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Frequent domestic and international travel required.
  • Fluency in English and local languages is essential.
