Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a technical consultant. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert advice and assistance to customers in the primary metals industry.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications, as well as knowledge of process applications in primary metals industry.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical consulting services to assist sales force in increasing account revenue and profitability
  • Assist clients with focus on primary metals industries
  • Work with local sales team and application engineers to audit and assess customer operations
  • Conduct on-site audits to assess and solve client problems or meet client requirements
  • Provide on-the-job product and sales training as appropriate
  • Identify new products and program applications, potential innovations pipeline and promote these new technologies to sales team after launch
  • Develop case studies and participate in industry seminars for showcasing technologies and paper submission
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Chemical / Metallurgical engineering or science or biotechnology (chemical, mechanical, industrial, chemistry, geochemistry)
  • Strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications with sound knowledge of process applications in primary metals industry
  • Knowledge of water, wastewater plant operation and recycle systems
  • Knowledge of digital solutions and managed operations
  • Knowledge in microbiology and environmental chemistry and local regulations
  • Experience in troubleshooting water and wastewater plants
  • Agile, self-driven, and results-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
