Job Description
- We are seeking a Technical Consultant to leverage our intellectual property and provide technical consulting services that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- This role requires expertise in primary metals industries, with a focus on water treatment applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water treatment chemistries and process applications.
- The Technical Consultant will work closely with our sales team and application engineers to audit and assess customer operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that maximize productivity, reduce waste, and improve safety.
- Key responsibilities include conducting on-site audits, summarizing findings in technical reports, and presenting key findings and service reports during customer review meetings.
- The Technical Consultant will also provide on-the-job product and sales training as appropriate, identify training and reference materials needed for field sales training programs, and work with marketing, RDE, and sales stakeholders to identify new products and program applications.
- Additionally, the Technical Consultant will participate in the development and commercialization of new programs, assist in creating value documentation and value delivery tools, and develop case studies for showcasing technologies at industry seminars.
- To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of water treatment chemistries and applications, as well as experience in troubleshooting water and wastewater plants. Fluency in English is essential, with local language skills a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Metallurgical engineering or science or biotechnology
- Strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications
- Knowledge of water, wastewater plant operation and recycle systems
- Knowledge of water automation, digital solutions, and managed operations
- Knowledge in microbiology and environmental chemistry and local regulations
- Experience in troubleshooting water and wastewater plants
- Agile, self-driven, and results-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
