ServiceNow Developer Role Overview

Remotestar is seeking a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team.

  • Translate business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations to meet organizational needs.
  • Provide expertise in the customization and configuration of ServiceNow for optimal performance and user experience.
  • Lead junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment within the team.
  • Stay current with industry trends in ServiceNow development, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems.
  • Participate in planning and executing ServiceNow upgrades and enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years on the platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, design, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and strong scripting skills.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow CSM implementation.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow development tools, including Configuration Workspace, Workflow Editor, Form Designer, UI Builder, Service Portal, and GenAI.
  • ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS CSM) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a minimum of 6+ years working on ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions meeting customer expectations.
