Job Title: Compensation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Compensation professional to oversee compensation operations for a large workforce.

  • Administer end-to-end compensation plans for over 5000 employees across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement, including bonuses, arrears, and adjustments.
  • Maintaining and updating employee compensation records, including new hires, exits, and status changes.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Calculating and deducting applicable taxes (TDS), Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and other statutory contributions.
  • Filing statutory returns and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Coordinating with auditors and government agencies during inspections and audits.

A strong understanding of Indian labor laws and tax regulations is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in India compensation administration, preferably in large organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory compliance.

Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP or equivalent) is a plus.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in compensation software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

They will also need to be able to handle confidential information with discretion and possess effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
