Job Title: Network Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Network Manager, responsible for overseeing and maintaining the security of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Security Governance: Develop and implement comprehensive network security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard our digital assets.
  • Firewall Management: Configure and manage firewall solutions, including implementing access lists and firewall policies, to ensure secure communication between networks.
  • Incident Response: Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security threats, and promptly implement countermeasures to mitigate risks.
  • Troubleshooting: Effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of the network and related systems.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for improving the network infrastructure to enhance its performance and security.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced Certifications: CCNP (Routing & Switching) and CCNP (Security) or equivalent qualifications demonstrating expertise in network security.
  • Industry Expertise: 10-12 years' experience in network security, with at least 5 years' hands-on experience in Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with management of Firewall and NIPS solutions, as well as experience working in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Specialized Knowledge: Hands-on experience with commissioning and implementation of various Firewall & NIPS solutions, and integrating with management and authentication authorization tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM).
  • Policy Management: Experience in managing policies and exceptions to ensure smooth network operation.
  • Troubleshooting Tools: Familiarity with packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting tools to quickly identify and resolve network issues.
