Job Description:
  • This position plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and modernization of audit practices, focusing on data-driven insights and automation.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data analytics teams to design and develop robust scripted data solutions, business monitoring tools, and support existing data systems and analytic reports.

Responsibilities include identifying and integrating diverse data sources, assessing data quality, and developing data analytic tools/languages to support enterprise risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation and Data Modeling:
    • Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources (enterprise platforms, SharePoint, NAS drives, etc.)
    • Develop scalable and efficient data models to support risk surveillance analytics and reporting needs
  • Data Management and Governance:
    • Ensure high-quality, complete, and consistent datasets across all risk surveillance datasets
    • Develop and enforce data validation, cleansing, and transformation procedures to ensure accurate analysis
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Partner with stakeholders, data analysts, and audit teams to understand requirements and deliver analytical-ready datasets
    • Communicate data pipeline status, issues, and solution approaches clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role presents an opportunity to leverage data analytics skills on various initiatives in a hands-on environment and develop expertise as an auditor in a matrixed internal audit department.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of SQL programming
  • 4+ years of programming in Python and/or R
