Werum PAS-X MES System Administrator

As a Werum PAS-X MES system administrator, you will be responsible for installing and upgrading the system with expertise in server-client architecture.

  • Install and configure the PAS-X system, ideally based on version 3.1.8, 3.2.1, or 3.30.
  • Configure services, synchronize users with LDAP/AD, and manage printing functionalities.

Manage global profiles, user rights, signatures, and system console settings to ensure seamless system operations.

  • Integrate SAP-MES, import/export data, and enable file exchange capabilities.
  • Document system life cycles, including CS, TRM, risk assessments, IQ test scripts, and change controls.
  • Understand technical architectures, application servers, database configurations, interfaces, and JBoss server log analysis.
  • Integrate MES with Level 2, 3, and 4 systems, and troubleshoot issues related to weighing & dispense scales, printers/scanners, and KP info analysis.
  • Configure IT settings, apply patches, and perform hot fix installations for customizations.
  • Resolve defects during qualification and provide hypercare support post go-live.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • WERUM PAS-X application installation and troubleshooting experience.
  • End-to-end implementation experience of Werum PAS-X.
  • Expertise in GMBRs, PVL, PMBRs, equipment management, material flow, weigh & dispense, EBR, MBR, and master data.
  • Understanding of ISA95/S88 standards and practical use in application design, as well as knowledge of pharma manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a good understanding of ITIL concepts and agile project management.
