Job Title: Operational EHS Specialist

">Job Description

As an Operational EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for handling unsafe acts and conditions, conducting toolbox talks, creating safety awareness among employees, performing risk assessments, and ensuring scheduled inspections to maintain GEHC EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support filing of regulatory monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Assist in I&I record keeping and investigation.
  • Support ISO 14001 documentation and prepare for audits.
  • Conduct plant walkthroughs and interact with shop floor employees.
  • Prepare and participate in Safety Committee meetings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for procurement, quotations, purchase orders, and payments.
  • Prepare site-level communications on key EHS occasions.
  • Provide training to employees and contractors.
  • Support the implementation of EHS frameworks and programs.
  • Support site readiness for internal and external audits and inspections.
