Job Title:
Environmental Health and Safety Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team. As an EHS professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees, customers, and the environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for environmental monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Interact with regulatory authorities to ensure legal compliance and effective communication.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to relevant authorities.
  • Ensure effective operation of waste management systems and treatment facilities.
  • Manage general, hazardous, and biomedical waste disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to operations.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions as per schedule.
  • Be well-versed in HAZID and HAZOP studies.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of EHS principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
  • Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to EHS.
