Job Title: Senior Executive – Finance

As a senior finance executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization. This includes managing cash flow, preparing and reviewing financial reports, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth. Your ability to interpret financial data and provide insights that inform business decisions will be critical in this role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports and reconcile income and expenditure statements.
  • Oversee daily/monthly BOS reconciliation and ensure accurate recording of receipts.
  • Maintain and update financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS.
  • Process invoices and accurately record payments.
  • Generate MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH using BOS financial data.
  • Ensure proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions.
  • Conduct general ledger reviews and analysis.
  • Assist auditors during financial audits and statement preparation.
  • Deliver invoices to airline clients and submit acknowledgments to stakeholders.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security standards in all financial operations.
  • Report any incidents or violations that may impact safety, security, or company reputation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Chartered Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • At least 3-7 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems, including ERP software.
Preferred Experience:
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial modeling.
  • Exposure to financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
