Procurement and Supplier Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Development Specialist to lead our sourcing and supplier management efforts for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) manufacturing.
- Source and onboard vendors for machined parts, hydraulics/pneumatics, sensors, controls, and custom fabrication
- Closely collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Production teams to build a cost-effective, high-quality supplier base aligned with project timelines
- B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- ~3+ years of experience in vendor development/procurement, preferably in automation, machinery, or precision manufacturing
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, quality standards, and manufacturing processes
- Skilled in supplier audits, ERP tools, and contract negotiations
- Willingness to travel for audits and vendor visits
We're Looking for Someone Who Can:
- Identify supply chain risks and drive optimization strategies
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our supply chain remains competitive
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A proven track record of success in vendor development and procurement
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
