Cloud Engineer Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Set up, upgrade, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience with Container and/or Serverless services in cloud environments.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience as Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar roles coming from Software development or system administration background.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster administration, including setup, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Hub & Spoke architecture and networking architecture such as DNS, routing, subnet, NAT, CDN, load balancer etc.
  • Understanding of Azure AD, access management concepts such AD groups, IAM etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience on using multiple cloud services based on the use cases (preferably Azure or other cloud provider).
  • Understanding security concepts Azure RBAC, Defender for cloud, Sentinel, Azure policies, Firewall etc.
