Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud solutions that meet the needs of our business, leveraging expertise in one or more cloud platforms.
  • Lead Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates to streamline deployment and management of cloud resources.
  • Architect and manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes at an enterprise scale, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Build secure cloud networking solutions, including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and segmentation to protect our data and systems.
  • Drive DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Establish and maintain cloud security frameworks aligned with industry standards to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Optimize cloud spend through resource management, rightsizing, and automation tools to minimize waste and maximize ROI.
  • Design and implement data lake and big data architectures to support AI/ML workloads, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to gain insights into system performance and behavior.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts to ensure mission-critical systems remain available and operational during outages.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on our business to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of cloud security and compliance.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, with hands-on experience with IaC tools and containerization.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and cloud cost optimization, with a solid background in serverless technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security & compliance standards, with experience working with data lakes and big data technologies in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
