  • This position requires an individual with expertise in news publishing and data-driven strategies, focusing on editorial planning, newsroom automation, and audience analytics.
  • The selected candidate will lead AI/ML projects including Gen AI, NLP, personalization, content tagging, and recommendation systems, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs, use cases, and transformation roadmaps, as well as driving innovation in real-time analytics, newsroom intelligence, and digital content performance.
  • Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring up to 25 team members across various locations and supporting pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal development for media analytics engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Media Technology, or a related field is required.
  • 8-12 years of experience in analytics delivery, particularly in news publishing, media, and digital content ecosystems, is also essential.
  • Strong understanding of newsroom operations, CMS platforms, audience development, and digital monetization models is necessary for success.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is also a must.
  • Experience with Gen AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) and LLM-based applications is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills are crucial for this role.
