  • We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain web services and APIs that support seamless integration between internal systems and third-party applications.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting RESTful web services and APIs with JSON as the primary data format. They will also ensure smooth integration between various systems, both internal and third-party.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web services and APIs with JSON as the primary data format.
  • Ensure seamless integration between various systems.
  • Monitor and optimize existing web services for reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
  • Debug and resolve integration issues and provide timely fixes.
  • Document web service architecture, workflows, and integration processes.
  • Implement best practices for API security, error handling, and data validation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining web services and API integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in JSON and experience working with XML is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware, or ESB tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
  • Good programming skills in languages like Java, Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with version control tools (Git).
  • Good understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
