EDI Specialist

We are seeking a skilled EDI specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining EDI solutions.

  • Configure and Maintain EDI Solutions: Develop and implement EDI configurations to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with trading partners.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with order management teams to integrate EDI with order processing systems, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.
  • Manage EDI Processes: Oversee the translation, communication, and mapping of EDI documents with trading partners, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Support Customer Onboarding: Collaborate with customers and external partners to onboard, test, and maintain EDI connections, guaranteeing efficient order processing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator: Proven experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • EDIFACT Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of EDIFACT standards and industry-specific transaction sets.
  • Order Management Systems Experience: Hands-on experience with order management systems (OMS) and their integration with EDI processes.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
