Job Title:

About the Role:

  • This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an experienced Proposal Specialist with expertise in Federal Government Contracting.
  • The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of RFP/RFQ/RFI management, Bid Management, Capture management, and dealing with US Federal government contracting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bid responses to RFPs and other presales activities effectively.
  • Coordinate proactive (proposals) and reactive (RFP/RFI) bids as a SPOC for timely submission.
  • Identify and propose improvements or innovations to services, product functionality, or processes proactively.
  • Prepare customer-specific sales collaterals by working closely with practice teams.
  • Support the sales team in developing and implementing account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an IT services company.
  • Understanding of US Federal government, SLED contracting.
  • Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a good understanding of the end-to-end sales life cycle.
  • Strong presentation skills and well-versed in MS Office to prepare proposals, case studies, marketing collateral, etc.
  • Familiarity with US Federal government contracting - contract vehicles, GWACs, GSA Platform & IDIQs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Capture & Bid Management using various portals such as SAM.GOV, GovTribe, GovWIN, FedConnect, and GSA and FPDS.
  • Federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Hands-on experience in proposal writing.
