Job Title: 2D Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2D artist to join our team. As a 2D artist, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development. You will be proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills.

You will also have experience in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games. Additionally, you will be able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery.

Key responsibilities include designing and illustrating 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms, developing visually engaging 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets, adhering to a structured production pipeline, exporting and assembling final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and file specifications, continuously learning and adapting to new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows, maintaining consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles, integrating and testing assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance, regularly playing our games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow, offering clear, actionable feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting, staying current with tools and workflows, adapting to new techniques as needed, and ensuring visual consistency by matching established styles and identifying deviations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development

  • Possess a passion for mobile gaming—with hands-on experience in designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles
  • Capable of matching a wide range of art styles and visually distinguishing between them for consistent and cohesive asset creation
