Ampersand Group is a leading organization that aims to transform lives across the world by reinventing elemental ecosystems through passion, innovation, and purpose. We partner with the Government in various projects to bring about meaningful difference in Early Child Development and Education, Skilling, and Livelihoods at the grassroots levels across India.
Our scope of work includes establishing training centers, mobilizing candidates, training, skilling, and finally, meaningful placement in the sectors of their choice. We have over 34 MOUs with 21 states in approximately 300 districts and 3000 schools. Our trainers have trained over 460,000 students in the last five years in 11 different sectors, including Beauty & Wellness, IT/ITES, Security, Apparel, Media, and more. This aligns with our goal of boosting micro entrepreneurship and creating livelihood opportunities under the Swarojgar government-led initiative.
PurposeThis role plays a critical part in supporting the organization's financial planning and analysis functions by providing financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. It ensures that the company makes informed financial decisions and meets its financial goals.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Develop and manage detailed budgets for CSR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Forecast project expenses, funding needs, and resource allocation to optimize financial outcomes.
- Analyze financial data to evaluate the effectiveness of CSR initiatives and return on investment.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and donors.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data-driven analyses.
- Monitor project expenditures to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising project quality.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure financial practices adhere to legal and organizational compliance standards, including CSR-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits and assessments.
- Work with project managers and CSR leads to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Participate in planning and execution of CSR strategies, ensuring financial sustainability and impact.
- Collaborate with donors, government agencies, and corporate partners to secure funding and manage financial commitments.
- Communicate financial insights and project outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
- Identify financial risks associated with CSR projects and propose mitigation strategies.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Track KPIs and financial metrics to measure the success of CSR initiatives.
- Provide ongoing updates and recommendations for project improvements.
- Oversee grants and donations, ensuring they are utilized as per agreements and project requirements.
- Manage the disbursement of funds and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Knowledge: Financial Planning, Business Planning & Project Evaluation, Analytics Skills & Data Crunching, Presentation, Reporting, and Communication Skills will be an added advantage.
- Skills: Stakeholder Management, Attention to Details, Analytical Thinking, Spreadsheets, Databases, and Financial Software Applications.
- Qualification: CA/MBA Finance from a top institute is mandatory.
