Protecting Brands with Intellectual Property Expertise

We are seeking an experienced IP protection specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our brand and its associated suffix brands.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for protecting our IP portfolio.
- Provide patent management services, including advising on patentability, freedom to operate, drafting and filing specifications, reviewing changes, and suggesting modifications or extensions.
- Manage trademarks and copyrights, conducting trademark availability searches, registration of trademarks, prompt conducting of trademark watch, and coordinating with external lawyers.
- Oversee design management, conducting comprehensive FTOs, advising business on design registrations, ensuring registration of designs, design prosecution management, and timely renewals.
- Manage IPR portfolios, updating records, life cycle management of IPR portfolio, archival and retrieval of IPR documents, and conducting IPR awareness training.
- Action counterfeit activities, acting on leads, promptly initiating action, conducting raids, developing information network, reporting counterfeit activities, and preparing reports based on feedback of raid.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office.
- Lawyer (LL.B) with experience in conducting TM availability searches and providing advisory on availability of marks.
- Experience in designs, including managing design novelty searches, filing, prosecution, and other allied matters.
- Bachelors Degree in Law.
- Registered Patent Agent and TM Attorney.
