We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our Engineering and Design department.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and engineering vacuum furnaces, as well as managing teams of 5-10 people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing technical solutions and execution methods for sales offers
  • Sizing and costing technical offers with the sales manager
  • Maintaining project schedules and ensuring proper technical support is provided to assembly/service support teams and customers

This role requires:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Design Engineering
  • Experience in design and analysis of mechanical structures, low/high/ultra-high vacuum systems, high-pressure vessels, high-temperature hot zones, heating elements, heat shields, insulation, and heat exchangers
  • Hands-on aptitude with standard design practices and manufacturing techniques
  • Advanced skills in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of numerical modeling in solid mechanics, thermal exchange calculations, computational fluid dynamics, finite element method, and thermo-mechanical simulations analysis

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Compiling technical/design and administrative dossiers/docs for customer accounts
  • Reviewing engineering and design for future planning in line with company strategy plans

This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams, communicating effectively, and delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to set priorities and plan tasks accordingly.
