Senior Splunk Specialist

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Splunk Developer/Administrator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monitoring and reporting tools, with expertise in setting up indexers, forwarders, dashboarding, creating alerts, and more.

  • Primary Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of Reporting tools like Splunk & Dynatrace
  • Monitoring & Reporting tools like Nagios/Dynatrace/HPOVO/ SNMP
  • Unix/Linux, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, Basic Java, Change Control Systems (GIT, SVN)
  • Ticketing / task tool like Remedy, Jira

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and managing Splunk instances, including indexers and forwarders
  • Creating dashboards and reports using Splunk's advanced features
  • Developing and maintaining alert systems using Splunk's capabilities
  • Maintaining Unix/Linux systems and associated infrastructure
  • Implementing Monitoring and Reporting tools across multiple environments
