We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security & Compliance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for owning and executing end-to-end security audits and compliance initiatives across applications, infrastructure, and organizational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical assessments required by new clients to ensure the security and compliance of our systems, applications, and business operations.
  • Analyse and complete detailed cloud infrastructure security and compliance questionnaires to identify potential risks and weaknesses.
  • Assist in mapping customer security and regulatory requirements to internal controls to ensure alignment with both internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and templates for commonly requested assessment artifacts to streamline the process.
  • Manage and complete security questionnaires from clients, vendors, and partners to ensure their security and compliance standards meet our expectations.
  • Evaluate vendor security and compliance by reviewing their responses and supporting documentation to ensure they meet our security and compliance standards.
  • Identify security risks within our company's IT infrastructure, applications, and services to take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, or any other relevant frameworks to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
  • Work with internal teams to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to avoid any potential penalties or fines.
  • Collaborate with the IT security, legal, and procurement teams to address concerns identified in the security assessments to ensure a unified approach.
  • Develop and maintain internal security policies and procedures related to vendor assessments and third-party risk management to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings from security assessments and risk analysis to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to improve security measures and compliance to enhance the overall security posture of our organization.
  • Educate internal staff and external partners about security best practices and compliance requirements to foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Support pre-sales and onboarding teams with timely delivery of assessment documentation to facilitate smooth client onboarding.
  • Stay updated with AWS best practices, shared responsibility model, and emerging cloud security trends to remain ahead of the curve.
