Cloud Security Architecture Expertise

Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

  • Develop and implement cloud security architectures for diverse cloud environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Lead the design of security reference architectures for cloud-based systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Have a deep understanding of security offerings within cloud platforms, including identity and access management, network security, data protection, and cryptography.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and design solutions to secure cloud usage, whether cloud-native or third-party solutions.
  • Establish comprehensive security strategies for cloud-based applications, covering all types (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).


Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop cloud security architecture blueprints that align with business goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement cloud security controls and configurations to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and ensure continuous monitoring and improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate cloud security risks through regular threat assessments and vulnerability scanning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve security posture.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, regulations, and compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop creative solutions.
