Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Negotiation Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently review and negotiate IT contracts with customers, subcontractors, vendors & alliance partners globally.
  • Review Master Services Agreements, SOWs, Partner Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Rainmaker Agreements.
  • Co-ordinate with procurement, business and delivery functions for closure of transactions.
  • Co-ordinate with other legal team members.
  • Prepare monthly reports on transactions received in a particular month.
Requirements:
  • Identify contractual, commercial and operational risks and exposures in contracts;
  • Provide inputs/mark-up on contracts to negate contractual, commercial and operational risks and exposures;
  • Work with internal and external clients to structure, prepare, negotiate and finalize agreements, letters of intent, commercial proposals etc.
  • Major experience in contract negotiation is required;
  • Review and negotiate customer agreements;
  • Provide legal support for ongoing contract management related activities;
  • Work in close co-ordination with external legal counsel;
  • Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, external counsels and advisors during the entire contracting process;
  • Manage and give guidance to junior lawyers;
  • Experience in negotiating IT outsourcing contracts and other types of IT contracts with customers.
