Software Packaging Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging role as a software packaging specialist. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for preparing applications for deployment on Windows operating systems, utilizing available setup commands and scripting techniques. Your expertise in repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield and RayPack will be invaluable in ensuring seamless application delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare applications for deployment by employing available setup commands and scripting techniques
• Utilize repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield and RayPack
• Ensure right packaging and delivery approach is used depending on the application
• Execute steps of the application packaging process within SLA limits
• Resolve incidents and requests related to packages in accordance with the SLA
• Liaise with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors where needed
• Manage and support customer environment built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family

Qualifications:
• At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems
• Thorough knowledge of the MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks
• Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting in support of automating application installations
• Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family including Microsoft Configuration Manager with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment
• Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills
• Experienced in working in an ITIL-based operations environment using ITSM toolsets such as ServiceNow
• Proficiency in English
