Senior Project Delivery Specialist

The role of the Project Controls Engineer is a vital one, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects across various sectors.

• 2-3 years of experience in Project Controls for large-scale projects are required.
• Strong experience with Cost Control, Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum), and Time Management are essential.
• Proven expertise in a Project Management or Project Controls Management position, specifically within complex Capex projects across sectors.
• Successful leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering results within a large-scale project environment.

Qualification:

• Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline.
• Professional Project Management Certification (preferably from PMI) or Post Graduate degree in Project Engineering and Management or Post Graduate degree in Advanced Construction Management.

This role requires the ability to monitor and maintain control of cost and schedule performance through a Project Controls System. This includes earned value management, key performance indicators, risk management, and change control. The ideal candidate will be able to agree on the progress measurement methodology with the contractor and ensure timely submission of project actuals in a previously agreed format.

• Support the Project Manager (PM) and Construction Manager (CM) in monitoring and maintaining control of cost and schedule performance through a Project Controls System.

• Measure current performance and predict future performance of the project/programme using valid performance measurement techniques such as earned value management.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of earned value data and process compliance on the assigned project portfolio.
• Create and implement project controls plans and lead project schedules, associated deliverables, and progress S curves to support contract requirements and the successful execution of project controls.
• Actively participate in project review meetings, providing clear, accurate project assessments, and offering proactive advice to drive successful project completion.
• Sustain and improve planning, risk, cost control, and change control management policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring proper application by project controls and delivery teams.
