As a finance professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our financial operations by issuing timely and precise invoices to customers.

About the Role
  • Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices to customers according to company guidelines
  • Timely Delivery: Meet the deadline for invoice delivery to ensure timely payment from customers
  • Customer Portal Entry: Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites accurately and efficiently
  • Electronic Submission: Submit invoices electronically through secure data exchange systems
  • Customer Requirements: Understand the key areas in invoicing specific to each customer to ensure compliance with their requirements
  • Invoice Accuracy Check: Conduct thorough checks on each field of the invoice before submission to prevent errors
  • Supporting Documentation: Ensure all necessary supporting documents are attached to the invoice and easily accessible
  • System Update: Maintain up-to-date records of invoice submission status in our system
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate logs of invoicing processes and customer interactions as reference
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the payroll team to streamline the invoicing process and meet deadlines
  • Account Statements: Send regular statements of accounts to customers detailing their outstanding balances
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile self-billed cases with approved timesheets, identifying any discrepancies in billing/payment and resolving them promptly
  • Rejections & Adjustments: Handle invoice rejections and credits effectively, communicating with customers and resolving issues promptly
  • Process Documentations: Develop and maintain detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the entire invoicing process, ensuring it is efficient and effective
  • Platform Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve our invoicing platforms to enhance user experience and efficiency
  • Credit Control Support: Provide assistance to the credit control team in managing invoicing and collection of payments
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-1.5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
  • Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, V-lookup, and pivot tables
  • Other Skills: Good analytical and logical skills
  • Accounts Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
