We are seeking a highly skilled Key Data Insights Specialist to join our organization. This role is crucial for ensuring data quality, managing data pipelines, and providing operational support within our IT environment, focusing on accelerating customer success and streamlining our work.
Roles and Responsibilities- Write and understand complex SQL queries, including joins and CTEs, to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
- Manage and monitor data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Databricks, ensuring seamless data flow and minimizing downtime.
- Understand the integration with Veeva CRM and Salesforce, leveraging these systems to drive business growth and improvement.
- Ensure data quality checks and business level checks in data pipelines of ADF and Databricks, guaranteeing accurate and reliable insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data and pipeline-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data delivery within committed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Possess a strong understanding of Azure DevOps and Release processes, facilitating smooth handovers from development to operations.
- Work in different time zones, collaborating with global teams to achieve common goals.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and other technical members to provide operational activities related to services, driving business value through data-driven decisions.
- Maintain strong documentation skills, creating clear and concise reports to communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Full-Time bachelor's degree in engineering/technology, computer science, IT, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting, applying analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
- Must have Azure DP-203 Certified, demonstrating expertise in Azure Data Platform solutions.
- Databricks Related certifications would be preferable, showcasing advanced skills in big data analytics and processing.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, working effectively with diverse groups to achieve shared objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crafting compelling narratives to convey complex ideas and insights.
- Primary Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Dedicated SQL Pools, SQL, Python/PySpark.
- Secondary Technologies: Unity Catalog, Lakehouse Architecture, with knowledge of additional technologies like Salesforce, JIRA, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Automation.
