Job Title: Strategic Communications Specialist

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, media, and marketing teams through daily communication via telephone and email.
  • Build trust and credibility by delivering exceptional service and results-driven solutions.
  • Manage client expectations, ensure 100% client retention, and provide regular progress updates.
Media Monitoring & Analysis
  • Monitor traditional and digital media outlets, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires.
  • Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Track and report on media mentions, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
Publicity & Campaign Management
  • Develop and execute publicity strategies and campaigns that drive business results.
  • Plan, enable execution, and create quarterly roadmaps for media outreach and engagement.
  • Prepare press releases, articles, and features for targeted media outlets, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Promote news stories and features across multiple channels to maximize visibility and impact.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and stories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and results-oriented mindset.
