Key Responsibilities

This position entails serving as an App Monitoring Expert to oversee the smooth functioning of applications.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in operational application management, with a proven track record of troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis.

They must also possess expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk, defining and fine-tuning alerts, and integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.

A strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks is essential, along with the ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting.

  • Synthetic monitoring and alarm management are crucial aspects of this role.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is highly desirable.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement are required.
  • The ideal candidate will also serve as a liaison between application and platform teams.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles is necessary.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital for success in this position, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and create a cooperative environment where ideas and solutions are shared openly.

Project management 'light' skills are also required to follow up on tasks, ensure timely completion, and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Accuracy in monitoring configuration and the ability to provide support and training to application teams with varying levels of technical expertise are key soft skills required for this position.
