Strategic Design Leadership

As a pivotal figure in our leadership team, the role of Strategic Design Leader is responsible for driving the overall design strategy and vision. This position requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the aerospace industry and its needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create innovative products that meet customer expectations
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including EASA, Airbus A1020, FAA, CAA, DGCA, and CEMILAC
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement
  • Develop processes to improve design efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning within the design team

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, with at least 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry. They will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams. Strong problem-solving skills, risk management expertise, and experience with project management tools are essential.
