You will be responsible for maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Software Installation: Assist in installing and updating software across the organization's systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and contribute to the organization's data security efforts.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing or documentation system.
  • Network Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the organization's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Security Monitoring: Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.

Requirements:

  • Education: BSc (Mandatory)
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or administration (internships, part-time roles, or self-taught experience welcome).
  • Basic Knowledge: Windows and/or Linux operating systems, network concepts, hardware components, office productivity software, problem-solving, communication, team player.
  • Certifications: IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or similar.
  • Advantageous Qualifications: Basic knowledge of network security and firewall configurations, familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
