About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Continuity Management professional to join our team. This middle management role will be based out of Bangalore and require close collaboration with US business teams, supporting US business hours, while also serving as a backup for Business Continuity Manager in India.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain an adequate and effective business continuity framework for both India and US offices. You will work closely with Voya US business teams to create strategies that align with global business needs, leveraging your strong knowledge of enterprise Business Continuity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Voya IT Business Continuity Plans across US and India
  • Partner with business departments to develop and maintain Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans, adhering to pre-defined program requirements
  • Consult with BC Plan Owners and Coordinators on annual lifecycle tasks, including Business Impact Analysis, BC Plan updates, Walkthroughs, and sign-offs
  • Provide support to Plan Owners during events
  • Be on-call according to rotation schedules and be available during events
  • Support Enterprise Business Resilience Program with data governance
  • Develop and maintain robust IT business continuity plans, ensuring alignment with current business conditions and corporate standards
  • Data quality monitoring and regular report generation
  • Ability to prepare ad-hoc presentations and create dashboards
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Riskonnect, Everbridge is advantageous

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in managing Business Continuity Planning
  • BCP certification (CBCP, CBCI, MBCP, MBCI) is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a geographically diverse team
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in facilitation, documentation, and reporting
  • Availability for 'on-call' duties in support of incidents or events outside regular business hours

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in managing Business Continuity Planning
  • BCP certification is highly valued
