Senior Interconnect Architect and Technology Lead

The role of CPU Architecture and Logic Design Lead plays a pivotal part in shaping the performance, efficiency, and scalability of modern computing systems.
As a logic design lead, you will spearhead the development of high-bandwidth, low-latency on-chip interconnects (NoCs) and chip-to-chip interconnects, driving innovation and excellence in this field.
- Develop and architect various interconnect topologies to meet bandwidth, latency, and RAS requirements
- Present proposed architectures in high-level design discussions, utilizing your expertise to drive meaningful insights and outcomes
- Collaborate with verification, DFT, physical design, firmware, and software teams to develop features that elevate our products to new heights
- Ensure pre-silicon designs meet functional, area, and timing goals, upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence
- Participate in silicon bring-up and validation of hardware, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desired for this position.
Required Technical Expertise:
8+ years of experience in processor interconnect design delivery leadership, including expertise in SMP coherency, various on-chip interconnect topologies, and understanding of latency & bandwidth requirements.
- Proficiency in HDLs - VHDL / Verilog is essential for this role
- Experience in high-speed and power-efficient logic design is crucial for driving innovation and excellence
- Working knowledge of queuing theory, numa/nuca architecture, and physical design principles is necessary for success in this position
- Experience leading uarch, RTL design teams for feature enhancements is highly valued
