About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our internal audit function and drive risk management initiatives across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel manufacturing, mining, or large-scale industrial projects.

  • We are seeking a seasoned internal auditor with expertise in ERM frameworks, SOX/ICFR compliance, and SAP/ERP audits.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and executing a risk-based annual internal audit plan, leading audits, and ensuring effective evaluation of controls in high-risk areas.

Additionally, this role involves conducting techno-commercial reviews of large projects, contracts, and capital expenditures, as well as performing forensic audits and fraud investigations.

Risk Management Focus
  • Establish and strengthen Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) aligned with COSO/ISO frameworks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register and conduct periodic risk assessments.
  • Develop mitigation plans in collaboration with business leaders and track implementation.
Governance & Compliance Expertise
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, SEBI, Companies Act, and global best practices.
  • Promote ethical culture, whistleblower mechanism, and anti-fraud frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) / CISA or equivalent certification is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience, with at least 10 years in lead roles in Internal Audit & Risk Management.
Key Competencies
  • A strong knowledge of steel plant operations, process risks, and project techno-commercial reviews is essential.
  • An analytical mindset with expertise in data analytics, risk modeling, and forensic reviews is necessary.
